Prove You Are Not a Robot is a captcha-like game consisting of dozens of carefully selected image questions covering news, history, art, and everyday life.
Participants choose the correct answer from among highly suggestive images generated by the artist using AI technology.
The work is inspired by captcha, a modern technology designed to distinguish humans from machines, and highlights the absurdity of identity verification where machines ask us to prove that we are human.
With the advancement of AI technology, image processing and manipulation have become more convenient, but this convenience raises new questions about the authenticity of images in daily life.
As AI accelerates image production, the concept of reality is diluted. Following Paul Virilio’s thinking on speed, information processing itself challenges the concept of reality.
