For many people, death is not the end, but a new journey. Through this video, Axl Le reflects on that journey by making the funeral itself a part of it.

The Funeral is the first film of the death trilogy. The departure of relatives led the artist to seriously think about what death means for the deceased and for the bystanders.

The death trilogy expresses different ideas through universe, religion, and the present. The Funeral is a short film without dialogue, with emotion carried by everything in the universe.
